Back from FanExpo~ and Crispych0colate contest

Well hello there guys~ got back from FanExpo last night, and it was tons of fun. And it was absolutely tiring, so much walking, it was very crowded on Saturday (they actually stopped letting people in) but regardless of that I had a blast with Erica and my Sis. We cosplayed, and got pulled over for photos a few times, saw tons of awesome costumes as well as some amazing artwork in artist alley. Got to see Vic (the voice actor for Ed in FMA) and my Sis got her photo done with William Shatner and Patritck Stewart, so that was cool. I also bought myself an Eevee and a Jolteon Plush, along with a pocket Eevelution shirt from TeeTurtle AND, because I couldn't not get it, a fox tail. BUT not any Fox tail, it looks EXACTLY like Dee's, sandy brown with a black band and a white tip XD This is just a quick journal as I'm actually sick atm, I caught something down , so did Erica. So I probably wont be active on here for a few days yet. 

However, if you are looking for something fun to do I highly suggest you go check out the contest is holding on She's held this contest twice before, both times it looked like a blast and I wish I could have joined in.

All it really is (if I remember correctly), is artists squaring off by drawing a picture under a certain theme, then a winner is picked based on how well it fits the theme as well as a few other reasons like creativity for instance. The winner of that round will move on to the next one (tournament style) doing the same thing again with another set of artists and a new theme. Eventually there will only be two artists going at it, and the winner will receive a prize (as well as the runner ups) It's a great idea in my opinion because its fair to all artists, regardless of skill level. As long as you follow the rules and be creative you stand a great chance at it.
