week too for alas I am terrible at drawing humans so I only did one picture. Also I am so sorry for more writing guys, I'm sick atm and I think I rambled more than I needed too
Hoping using the word"hell" isn't too mature to use, I've seen other group members use it in the past.

It took them half the morning to trek across the plains and into Draydon's forest, the sun only just peeking through the clouds before once again being covered. The pair walked in silence, Draydon frustrated with this turn of events and the inconvenience of this form while Zip followed, still not fully convinced that this mon wasn't actually his brother. They had decided on checking his home first, just in case Zap was there in his body and because so far no other mon seemed to be acting weird on Freya's half of the ranch. Draydon assumed that meant his sister was probably panicking elsewhere.

Once inside the forest they were met with little trouble, few of the pokemon had strayed outside their buildings today thanks to the rain, allowing them to quickly reach the cabin. It was quiet there, half hidden in a descend grouping of trees, with a brook gurgling at the bottom of a small hill. Draydon padded toward the front door, it looming above him, the nob out of reach now. "you stay out here, if he's in side then I'll bring him out to you. I have some things I need to grab regardless." With that he leapt up and caught the door nob in his paws. Using gravity to swing it open, he then let himself drop back down onto the step, a short dimly lit hallway ahead of him.

Zip simply nodded as he disappeared inside, still unsure what to believe. His mind said that he had to be Zap. He looked and smelled just like his brother, sounded just like him, and last night he had fallen asleep with him nearby as always. It seemed impossible for him to just suddenly be switched with someone else, let alone one of the owners of the ranch. But his gut didn't agree, he couldn't deny that the chu's behavior was off, similar, but certainly not the Zap he'd always known. He didn't feel that close bond they always shared. <this is just messed up> he thought quietly, gazing off down the hill at a group of smaller buildings, these clearly used to house other pokemon. <if he's right, how do we fix it? What  could cause two people to just switch bodies?... and if he's wrong... then why is Zap acting like this? I want my brother back... Arceus, why do things keep happening to him?>

Something caught his eye near the buildings, breaking his train of thought and he tilted his head. From his spot he could just see a black and teal haired young man wearing similarly dark coloured clothing moving between two of the buildings. Zip recognized him as Draydon almost immediately, though he'd only seen the trainer a few times. <There he is!> managing to restrain himself from running down to him on his own, Zip looked back into the house and called inside, fur prickling. "He's out here! hurry, by those little houses"

It took him a moment, but Draydon quickly returned, looking out the door. "where?" Zip pointed down the hill, glancing at him hopefully. "Down there, I can't see him now, he went in one of the buildings I think." Draydon raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised. True it was about the time he'd normally be feeding everyone, but why would Zap bother going down there at all given his situation? Wouldn't he be a little more concerned with the switch and want to find out what happened to his body? Or maybe check on his brother?

Draydon narrowed his eyes, something about this seemed off. "Come on" he started down the hill with Zip on his heals, only to halt when a mocking voice sounded nearby. "hah, what are you two idiots doing all the way on this side of the ranch?" He saw Zip flinch and the pair turned toward the voice, spotting Melanie  and Sierra standing nearby. The two troublesome mon watching them with amused smirks. He wasn't exactly surprised to see Melanie, the eevee/vullaby cross lived here after all and it was feeding time, which she never failed to show her face during. As for her blitzle companion, her presence wasn't that unusual, though she lived with the other hoof stalk on Freya's side Sierra was often seen wandering with Melanie.

"Please leave us alone Melanie, we have to go see your trainer, its important." Zip said worriedly, glancing at Draydon. He could see that the chu was very tense, clearly not happy to see these pokemon. "Important? Hah! you two dingbats? Sorry, Draydon doesn't bother with weak little mon like you, why don't you scurry back to your cushy basket?" The vee cross smugly taunted, her partner chuckling. Draydon rolled his eyes, he knew she was a problematic mon, but so long as she didn't start causing real trouble he didn't care what she did. Right now however, she was just a distraction they didn't need.

Ignoring them, he turned and went to continue down the hill, leaving Zip to either deal with this on his own or choose to follow him. He didn't really care which. But before he could take two steps a shadowball slammed into the dirt ahead of him. "HEY! Don't you dare turn your back on me, this is my turf chu, I say when you can leave" Zip moved next to him, frowning at her as she took to the air and landed in their path, cutting them off while Sierra moved behind them. They were now trapped between the two girls, dense undergrowth on one side and a cabin on the other. "Melanie, please. We NEED to go see him right now. Lets not do this." Zip pleaded, clearly hoping he could talk her down. "you don't understand, somethings wrong with Zap and-"

"HAH! you got that right!" she folded her feathered arms. "I've been waiting for you dumb chu's to wander over here, this is way too good a chance to pass up. Right Sierra?" In response the blitzle darted forward and grabbed Zip by the scruff, lifting him off the ground slightly with her teeth. He let out a surprised squeak, struggling in an attempt to get her to let go. Draydon glanced back at Zip about to say something, only to feel a set of paws grab hold of his arm. "You two are coming with us, we've got a LOVELY spot to show you hah!" Draydon turned a glare on her in annoyance, he could feel a strange tingling sensation rise in his cheeks and without even having to think about it released a thunder shock on the avian fox. She let out a startled yelp leaping back in surprise, electricity still jumping off her fur. Draydon blinked, taken aback by this. He didn't intended to do that, in fact it hadn't even occurred to him that he could use moves at all! Awe struck, he couldn't help but smirk at how easily it had come to him.

Melanie growled, clearly not as please. "oh you've done it now!" She leaping at him, she tackled him down to the ground, raising a clawed paw. "Zap!" Zip struggled wildly, managing to bang his ram horns against his captors nose, forcing Sierra to drop him. As soon as his paws hit the ground he grabbed hold of Melanie's tail and yanked her off of Draydon, the vee letting out a shriek in response and turning her fury on him. In one quick movement she flipped herself around and sent a sparking black shadow ball into the fairy chu's face, knocking him flat on his back. She went to jump on him instead, clearly intending to use her talons on him, only for a familiar voice to sound nearby causing stopping Melanie to stop abruptly.

"what the hell is going on over here?" Draydon bristled and quickly got to his paws, looking toward the sound. Running up the hill was himself in human form, or rather who they believed was zap, a frustrated expression on his face. "what are you doing? Break it up, I wont have fighting here" Melanie scrambled off Zip and backed up to stand next to Sierra, the pair glancing at each other before taking off into the bushes. "Stay out of my forest!" She shouted as the pair disappeared from sight. Draydon shook his head before turning his attention to the impostor. "Well?" Zip stood up slowly, looking at the man as well, a hopeful light in his eyes. "Zap? Thanks so much for stopping them" he smiled, tilting his head when he didn't seem to react, the human simply glancing at the open door to the cabin. "Zap?" He tried again, still getting no response from his so called brother.

"Breaking into my house huh? your the two chu's from Freya's side of the ranch, what are you even doing here?" he cast them both with unimpressed look, Zip clearly taken aback. "huh? But..." he started, glancing between Draydon and the trainer. "Zap? come on it's me Zip?" he padded over, ears back, but all it got out of him was a glare. This Draydon was clearly not his brother either, leaving him even more concerned. "good Melanie caught you, now get out of here before I call Freya to come get you herself."  The man turned his attention away from them and began heading for the door of the cabin.

The real Draydon however, frowned in frustration, raising an eyebrow as he tried to work out what was happening. He'd expected the chu's twin would acknowledge them at least but this reaction was just worrying. He was now sure things were far more complicated then just a simple swap. This doppelganger  was definitely not Zap, and was more like a copy of himself, having seemingly taken Draydon's place while he himself was now Zap. It unsettled him that the double was so much like him, mimicking his behaviors and mannerisms almost too well, certainly believable enough that no one would notice something had happened. "this is ridiculous!" he stated watching the duplicate trainer head inside, acutely aware of Zip staring at him. With a jab Draydon realized it was a mistake letting the chu tag along, he knew now that it would be impossible to convince him as to who he really was, and the look he was giving him clearly said he now thought his "brother" was crazy...

Zap wandered through the forest, unable to see through the mist and tripping once or twice in the process, silently cursing why humans wore shoes. His senses were dulled in this form, he couldn't smell or hear like he could as a chu and that made finding his way through all this fog a real challenge. He was starting to feel uncomfortably exposed here and was well aware of how easily something could sneak up and attack him, the chu no longer able to use his natural abilities as a defence. But Zap pressed onwards regardless, he needed to figure out where he was and what had caused him to suddenly become Draydon. Most importantly, how to fix those problems. He'd never read anything about a situation happening like this.

The fog ahead of him began to thin out and the trees opened up to a large garden area, beautiful flowers spreading out all around him. Small stone paths wove between the plants and to one side there seemed to be a large open area, complete with tables lined with food and drinks. Quite a few pokemon and humans dressed in strange white robes milled about the space, all in cheerful moods, the atmosphere almost unsettling when compared to the forest. A hand tapped his shoulder and he nearly jumped, turning to see a woman in a white robe smiling happily at him. "welcome" she said, gesturing toward the tables. "please, come and have something to eat and drink, I'm sure you must be very tired after making your way here."

He was about to refuse when a his stomach ached in protest. Reluctantly he agreed, hunger getting the better of him and the women lead him down to a table, sitting him down and leaving before he could say anything. Zap was obviously suspicious of this place, it was just too convenient that he managed to stumble on an apparent paradise in the middle of a foreboding forest. Let alone after suddenly being switched. To his surprise the women returned rather quickly, carrying a tray of his favorite foods and a drink. She placing it down in front of him, smiling brightly. "Here you go, enjoy and stay as long as you like. You're welcome here."

Zap stared at the food, unable to explain how they knew what berries he loved or the food he'd always wanted to try. "how?" he whispered in Draydon's voice, glancing back at her. She simply chuckled at him. "never you mind about that, eat as much as you like, there's plenty more if you want it. Don't be shy to ask for anything, we'll gladly bring it to you." She headed away again before he could question her more, and though he did try to speak to the other people and pokemon here none would answer his questions. They only seemed interested in making him comfortable and convincing him he should stay. With an uncomfortable knot forming in his stomach, Zap realized part of him actually wanted too, but he pushed the thought away quickly. None of this mattered, all the food and drink in the world wouldn't replace what he really wanted. And that was to be back in his own body, on Eternia Acres and have his brother by his side. He'd just have to find someone here that could help him do that.
