Vixen tensed as a sleek grey tabby tom pushed his head out from the brambles. His fur was bristled with hostility and his eyes flicked warily at the kittypets. She felt her sister tremble next to her and look to see the grey she-cat crouching down, eyes wide and unblinking.

“Thistlepaw!” the tom hissed, tail lashing. “Who are these cats? Why did you bring them to our camp!” He took a pace toward the medicine cat apprentice, teal eyes narrowed. “They didn’t force you to bring them did they?”

Thistlepaw was hardly fazed by the tom, confidently padding up to him with her head and tail held high. “Of course not! They’re here because they need Birchtail’s help, one of them is injured” To accent this point she flicked her white tipped tail at Diamond.

The tom hesitated, letting his fur lay flat but he kept a suspicious glare trained on the pair of intruders. “You still haven’t answered me. Who are they? They smell like kittypets, why in the name of Starclan would you think of bringing them here, don’t their twolegs look after them?”

The medicinecat apprentice fluffed up her fur. Turning back to her companions, she replied rather firmly. “We have a cat here who needs help and your worrying about that right now? Can’t you see how much pain she’s in?” Any trace of the fearful she-cat that had been chased by a dog only a short time before was now gone, replaced by a dedicated and concerned medicine cat.

He looked from his clanmate and back to the sisters, narrowed eyes resting on the now rather terrified grey she-cat. With a sigh he shook his head. “Thistlepaw, you are going to be in so much trouble. What are you going to tell Rainstar?”

She hesitated then turned back around and began to pad past him. “I’m not, you‘re going too” She meowed confidently.

Ashstripe bristled, ears back. “What!?” he exclaimed, flicking his tail in an attempt to stop the apprentice. “If you think I’m going to bale you out of this, your more mousebrained then Coonpaw!”

Thistlepaw stopped and rolled her eyes. “I didn’t expect you to, I have to take them to Birchtail first but someone has to let Rainstar know that they’re here.” She meowed. “I’ll explain everything after I’ve made sure Birchtail won’t need me”

The grey tom paused, shuffling his paws. “Oh… Well, I’m still not going to try and get her to go easy on you again, this time your on your own”

She flicked her tail dismissively. “I never said I wanted you too” She then turned her head, signalling for the two sisters to follow her. However she was met with wide eyes and neither kittypet moved.

Well look what the cat dragged in *imsorry* yes Warriors Forest Chronicles is still alive, I recently was inspired to continue and I thought writing it this way (with a picture) would be more interesting :3 I'll atleast finish the chapter for you guys who have been waiting.... A year
